The Chief of Nyinahini, Nana Amanpene Boateng Twum II, has called for the arrest and prosecution of military officers responsible for the death of 37-year-old Kwame Lala. The chief believes the officers' actions were unjustified, questioning why someone would be shot for wearing army camouflage.



The incident occurred during a scuffle between the youth of Nyinahini and military personnel, resulting in Kwame Lala's death and four others being injured. The Ashanti Regional Police Commander, DCOP Emmanuel Teye Cudjoe, has assured that an investigation is underway and perpetrators will face the law.
